EVELYN LEAGUE-ST. GERMAIN
Owner/President


Established in 1996, League Marketing Group, Inc. serves a niche in the marketplace providing comprehensive support in sales, marketing and public Relations for tourism-related entities. Evelyn’s experience spans over 27 years within the travel industry. Over the years she has been involved in opening 7 hotels, and worked in numerous sales positions within the hotel industry.
She has headed regional offices, and prior to starting LMG, directed sales, marketing, public relations and advertising worldwide for the luxury Bora Bora Lagoon Resort in

Resort in French Polynesia (an Orient Express Hotel). Her tenure includes a number of positions with prestigious hotels; Dir. of Sales for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Dir. Of Group Sales Kea Lani Hotel, Emerald Hotels (which included Mauna Lani Bay Hotel), Hawaiian Regent and Pan Pacific in Anaheim. She worked as Dir. Of Group Sales for three years at a Hawaiian-based DMC during her memorable five years in the islands.

LMG clients include; Post Ranch Inn, Laucala, Hotel Hana-Maui, Le Meridien Hotels de Polynesia, and Bettoja Hotel properties in Rome and Florence, Italy to name a few.

Evelyn believes in giving back, so she devotes time to charitable organizations to assist them in raising contributions for their worthly causes. She assists "Meals On Wheels" and is a member of the MBWIB committee, which raises funds for MCHS senior girl scholarships and Beach Cities post breast cancer treatment. She is also member of Ka Ohana O Kaleponi (which she initiated in May 1990), LA PROST, So Cal. SITE, and MPI.

She enjoys entertaining friends and family, playing tennis, cooking, and relaxing in one of the special Hotels & Resorts within the portfolio. Evelyn resides in Manhattan Beach, CA with her husband Sam and sons Ryan and Dylan.



BETH CURRY BOHN
Director of Sales

Beth joined League Marketing Group in March 2008 with over 24 years in the travel industry.  She comes with a wealth of  experience and professional contacts in the Group Market having worked in regional offices for Inter-Continental Hotels, Forte and Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and recently, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for the past four years. 

Beth Curry Bohn

Beth will use her experience and talents to focus on generating group business for our hotel partners.  She will work with meeting and incentive planners, third party planners and association executives that have potential to utilize our highly unique resorts in many desirable locations within California and internationally.

During her leisure time Beth spends time with her husband Buddy and her close knit family.  She lives in Manhattan Beach, and enjoys all there is about the beach community that she calls home.

GERALDINE HARVEY
Sales Manager

Geraldine has been in working within various fields of the travel industry for over 22 years. Her well-rounded experience includes employment with Air Jamaica Vacations and Hawaiian Airlines in Sales positions, Ask Mr. Foster Travel as a Travel agent and, Hawaiian Polynesia Tours as a Tour Escort for one of Hawaii’s wholesalers, in addition to other tourism-related assignments.

In March 2000, Geraldine joined LMG, Inc. as a Sales Manager to assist in providing sales coverage to the retail travel trade for the properties within the LMG portfolio. Her position includes; sales calls, escorting familiarization trips to the resorts represented by LMG, presentations and seminars to travel agencies, participation at travel trade shows and more.

When Geraldine is not working, she spends time with her two sons, volunteers time to her church, and enjoys running, biking, hiking, cooking and time with her family and friends.


 


Melody Lewis
Regional Sales

Melody has a vast experience in the travel industry, having worked on the hotel and wholesale sides of the business for the last 16 years. For the last two years, she’s taken a short sabbatical from travel, developed her own company (which she recently sold) and is looking forward to returning to the industry she loves.  Her passion for the industry began as a flight attendant for American Airlines.

While working with the award-winning Hotel Hana-Maui for three years, she managed business development with extensive field involvement in all national, international and domestic Hawaii markets.  She was integrally involved in establishing monthly/quarterly sales strategies for resort operations. 
Melody also spent eight years working with Happy Vacations and Classic Vacations as DOS supporting the direct sales efforts of the regional sales staff of each respective company.  She worked with her team to manage and maintain top producing accounts and business development.  In addition to an abundance of other vital management duties, she personally participated in sales and strategy with each team member including sales calls, trade shows, marketing analysis and special events.

Prior to Melody’s years with Hotel Hana-Maui, Happy Vacations and Classic Vacations, she was a Regional Manager for seven years with the ever popular SuperClubs Resorts all inclusive properties throughout the Caribbean. Her success there groomed her for the roles she assumed at the above-mentioned companies.  

Melody graduated from San Jose State University in California with a Bachelor of Arts degree.   She has a talent and passion for floral design and event production.  In her free time she enjoys visiting tropical destinations with beautiful white sand beaches.  She has a wonderful husband, Ken, and two sons whom she adores.

LUZ PADILLA
Administrative Support Staff

Luz has been working as Admin. Asst. for over 7 years. She is better known as "Mom", Evelyn's mom. She thought she was going to retire, and Evelyn put her to work. She's probably never worked harder, but enjoys every minute and loves the travel business. Most of all, she gets much gratitude in helping her daughter succeed in business. Luz is extremely dedicated, great at getting those smaller tasks completed and assists

with general office work. You will often see Luz at LMG events handling registration or doing other necessary on-site coordination.

During her free time she enjoys cooking, dancing, visiting with friends and family, and traveling the world. Now you really know where it all started for Evelyn.....

KATHLEEN DUDA

For more than 20 years, Kathleen Duda has brought intelligence, creativity and commitment to providing public relations, sales, marketing and promotional services to diverse clients in a variety of industries.

Beginning in 1983, Kathleen spent five years as an Executive VP at Shearson/American Express, holding supervisory positions in the Marketing, Incentives, and Corporate Events divisions. In 1988, Kathleen established

She generated marketing and communication strategies and served as a consultant to tourism and trade offices (including those of Egypt and Morocco that were developing new approaches for the American market).

In the years since, she has developed thorough expertise in luxury properties and international destinations, categories that overlap with the lifestyle products and services that were part of Kathleen’s earlier career experiences. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Morocco, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand.

411 Graphics was started as a design boutique in 1989. Over the past two decades, Art Director LuAnn Roberto has brought her distinctive graphic style to a wide range of high-profile creative projects. She has designed numerous corporate brochures, logos, magazines and other promotional materials operating from her state-of-the-art studio in Southern California. LuAnn has provided design services for

Fortune 500 companies as well as some of Southern California's most famous film and television studios. Previously, LuAnn was a creative director for a graphic design subsidiary of Saatchi Saatchi, an international advertising agency.

LuAnn is probably best known for her incredible, authentic Italian tomato sauce, the recipe for which is her most closely guarded secret.

NICOLE LARSEN
Busy Avenue, Inc.

Busy Ave, Inc. offers marketing strategy and communication services for startups and established firms in the South Bay. As president/CEO, Nicole Larsen focuses company efforts on creating a brand image that will stand out in today's crowded marketplace. Services offered include marketing plans, email marketing, web design/editing, logos, business cards, brochures, illustrated books, etc.

With an MBA from Pepperdine University, Nicole has developed marketing plans for the LA Times Travel section and Time Warner's In2TV.com video download site. Previously, Nicole was Director of Marketing for a youth sporting events company, JAMZ Inc. She also worked at Rubin Postaer & Associates ad agency negotiating broadcast and cable television for luxury automotive clients.
